A touch of classic design

Fancy cuts, vibrant colors, creative settings — there is so much to love about jewelry styles from years gone by. From the unapologetically emotive styles of the Victorian Era, through the Art Nouveau spring, all the way to the geometric decadence of 1920s Art Deco — travel through time with this list of our favorite antique inspired engagement rings.

1

Our first couple wanted a vintage-looking halo to frame the center diamond of their antique inspired engagement ring. So we did what anyone would do, and we gave them two! The oval cut diamond is first surrounded by a rose gold milgrain frame. Outside of this sits a floating halo with diamond accents set in a vintage shaped frame. The milgrain and diamond combination continues down the shoulders of the rose gold band, checking all the boxes for antique inspired glamor.

2

Our next husband-to-be came to us for a ring inspired by Queen Victoria’s in the 1800s. The classic beauty of the round moissanite center stone is set on a pedestal with double-milgrain steps leading up to it from the band. The yellow gold band is gently tapered and engraved with a clean, stylized floral design

Our next antique inspired ring certainly stands out in a crowd! The brilliance of the pear cut center diamond is undeniable when surrounded by a black diamond halo. And, just in case that wasn’t enough for you, we added a second halo of white opals! Leaf-shaped beaded borders around each opal bring a sense of movement, with soft flourishes flowing down the rose gold band towards the couple’s special personalizations. Can anyone say “roaring 20s?”

4

Our next groom-to-be was eager to include his fiancée’s favorite flower, echinacea, in her engagement ring. The flower’s slender, finger-like petals sit beautifully alongside whimsical engravings, to create an Art Nouveau inspired ring. A stunning cluster of four different shaped diamonds sit alongside the elegant round cut center diamond, bringing sparkle and life to the ring.

5

Our next engagement ring is inspired by the opulence and grace of the Edwardian era. An oval cut black onyx center stone is framed by a dazzling diamond accent halo. Curls and curves throughout the halo give a sense of luxurious movement and life, and platinum milgrain beading adds even more sparkle! Two onyx accent stones sit on the shoulders of the wide, tapered band, rounding out this extravagantly-styled ring.

6

When the love of your life loves Art Deco, you know you have to give her an Art Deco inspired engagement ring! The vibrant colors and striking geometry of the period are perfectly encompassed in this bridal set. The engagement ring features an emerald cut diamond center, flanked by even more emerald cut diamond accents. Round diamond accents surround the lot in a grand halo, and two blue sapphire accents add pops of bright color to the ring. A matching diamond accent wedding band only adds to the joyful decadence.

7

This white on white engagement ring is a real Edwardian-inspired beauty. The diamond center stone is lovingly encircled by an embellished bezel setting. The sweeping movement throughout the bezel is carried through to the twisted, angled halo with sparkling diamond accents. The vitality of this ring doesn’t stop there — diamond accents and a delicate floral motif flow throughout the band, creating an unforgettable ring.

8

Our final antique inspired ring contains a single morganite center stone that is celebrated in all its glory! The spectacular peach-colored rectangular cushion cut stone is framed by a vintage style setting, presenting it as a work of art. The elaborate curls and natural shapes in the frame are echoed in the yellow gold band, which contains a floral motif.
