Pavé setting engagement ring designs

Our favorite engagement rings featuring pavé settings

Pave the way for the bride-to-be

Whether you can’t get enough sparkle, want to enhance your engagement ring’s center stone, or you’re just obsessed with neatly lining things up (us too!), a pavé setting might be right up your alley. Pavé comes from the French work for “pave,” as in, pave the way for maximum glitz! Pavé settings are a great way to add a little extra bling to your ring and can make bands look thinner and more delicate. Check out our list featuring this sparkly setting to see how our creative couples incorporated it into their one-of-a-kind engagement rings.

1

The eye-like pattern of our first engagement ring is sure to catch glances. The marquise cut of the moissanite center stone looks like a sultry cat’s eye, held by six prongs in the center of the ring. Repeating along the band, you’ll spot a dainty pavé of moissanites adding a glint to their almond-shaped settings. As a heartfelt gift to his fiancé, Cesar found a beautiful way to say, “eye love you!”

2

Our next bride-to-be, Jess, met her handsome Navy sailor fiancé, Solomon, on a cruise so our designers gave their ring a view of calming waters. An undulating current of pavé-set diamonds swells along the band while an opposing tide of yellow gold waves back. The curves of the engagement ring’s band crest into a beautiful basket setting that brings a shimmering diamond to the surface.

3

They say that good things come in threes, and we couldn’t agree more. Our dashing groom-to-be, Mark, was inspired by a three-stone setting, so our designers set his fiancée’s engagement ring with a pop of dark blue in an oval cut London blue topaz hugged by two sparkling diamonds. The final touch? Even more pavé-set diamonds sparkling down the shoulders of the rose gold band!

4

In the wise words of Rihanna, “shine bright like a diamond!” Kaysie wanted something simple and dainty with tons of sparkle, so she got this blinding beauty! A radiant cut diamond is clasped between four yellow gold claw prongs on a bed of pavé-set diamonds adorning the ring’s band. Adding the pavé-set wedding band turns up the sparkle to eleven! Better put those sunnies on!

5

We love the timeless look of a halo setting, like the one in Michael’s ring for his beloved. Double rows of twisting pavé-set moissanites snake up to the center setting. There, a halo of moissanites elegantly frames the oval cut center: another moissanite. This ring really gives us antique vanity mirror vibes, a perfect way to reflect the lifelong love this engagement ring represents.

6

Say “halo” to another gorgeous pavé-set engagement ring! This one is dripping with sophistication as a graduated halo of moissanites frames a champagne, pear cut sapphire. Underneath the center setting, between more pavé-set moissanites in the ring’s band, hides a second peekaboo sapphire: a small blue one commemorating the one from an old promise ring our lovestruck fiancé gave his bride-to-be nine years ago.

7

Ring around the rosy! This engagement ring sparkles in all directions with its daisy-chain of pavé-set diamonds in rose gold. Our designers inflated one of the diamonds so it serves as the center setting and focal point of this one-of-a-kind engagement ring. And now, with this last pavé setting engagement ring and its colorless center stone, our little list has finally reached its conclusion and come full circle.
