This is a hand carved onyx cameo of the zodiacal signs. The carving is beautifully executed. This is a very nice gem for a men's or women's pendant.
Onyx is a variety of agate that has alternating layers of black and white. Here is used material that has a thin black layer on top with a thin
… white layer. The carving is mounted on a 1/8 in (3 mm) layer of white agate to give it strength. The diameter of the cameo is 1 in (2.5 mm).
This stone can be set in a variety of ways beginning with a four prong coin type setting to mounting it in a circle of rubies or diamonds. Undoubtedly you have other and even more interesting ideas as to how this stone can be set.

Seapunk Veil

High fashion meets heirloom. My Seapunk Veil is intricate and full of iridescent light. Once again, I am amazed at the beauty of Lois's work. She did an excellent job interpreting a design from my inspiration photo. I also sent Lois some older pieces of jewelry to incorporate into my headdress. These sentimental pieces had been stored away in boxes. Now, they have a magnificent home.

I feel lucky to have found such an artisan. Websites like this allow a worldwide connection that I would probably search a lifetime for. Our pieces are truly unique with high craftsmanship. No one has seen anything quite like our bridal set. They are both organic and man-made. They are both masculine and feminine. They have a futuristic quality and treasure of antiquity air to them. Lois went above my expectations. She kept in constant contact with me throughout the creation process. I am amazed at her attention to my feedback. I will be working with Lois again.
