What is CustomMade?

CustomMade is the first online marketplace to connect shoppers looking for fine custom home furnishings and other personalized items with the skilled makers who create them.

What Can I Do on Your Website?

You can get anything you want, custom made, just the way you want it.   Our makers can create anything you can think of - fine jewelry, custom furniture, stained glass, metal sculpture, and even guitars.  You can browse our galleries to team up with a local custom maker and design a project from scratch, or you can simply post your project idea and let the Makers come directly to you. 

Who Are You?

Our names are Mike Salguero and Seth Rosen, and we are two college buddies who purchased CustomMade together in 2009 from its previous owner (the Company has been around since 1996).  We bought this business because, put simply, we LOVE custom stuff.  

What's the History and the Mission?

Since we purchased it in 2009, a community of 350 woodworkers has grown drastically in numbers and expanded across mediums to include over 3,500 of the highest caliber custom makers in the world.  

We think everyone should try custom, and we think custom is a better alternative to the things you might already be buying from your local big-business retailer.  So we want to create a place where it's easy to interact and transact with custom makers of every kind.  

The mission is a world where everyone gets everything custom made or customized - or at least considers it!
