Big Leaf Maple Burl - Live Edge Coffee Table
Live Edge coffee table. The legs are black walnut, and hard maple. The top is heavily figured big leaf maple burl. The design was inspired by Nakashima's Cluster table. The legs and base are simple and elegant to make sure not to distract from the natural beauty of the burl. The voids are filled with turquoise for a flare of color and to insure maximum usable surface area.
The piece is coated with a custom blend of shellac and BLO, and then protected with GF Topcoat and furniture Wax.
