Great bowl turned from a very common tree use in landscaping. You probably have one in your yard. I find it a very beautiful wood. The bowl is turned from a half log, which gives it the saddle appearance at the top of the bowl.
Natural edged bowls are turned "green" then dried over time. Once they … are dry they are return, as the usually distort in drying, then finished. Depending on the size of the bowl it can take 2-14 months to produce this bowl.
