I lov … Read more My name is Diane Simon, I have been a ceramic artist for about 15 years now and have my M.F.A in it. My passion is making porcelain functional wares that are crystalline glazed. Crystalline glazes are a unique in that zinc crystals actually grow in the glaze as it slowly cools creating interesting effects.

I love creating stamps which create relief images on my works. I can create a stamp from just about any computer image (although I might have to simplify if from the original image to make a good stamp). The ability to create stamps allows me to put business, club, organization, band or team logos (or just about anything) on a mug or any piece of pottery.

My pottery is all microwave safe (handles won't get hot) and dishwasher safe (although I recommend hand washing). I use a food safe white liner glaze on the interior (functional surface) of my wares.
