I have been building / designing/ hand crafting distinctive furniture , fine cabinetry for almost 30 yrs. My hand veneering and fine finishing makes our shop a complete operation for any professional or discerning individual.
We can handle our own installations or schedule arrangements that meet our standard of excellence. Our shop constructs hand made furniture and custom cabinetry to extreme tolerances. We create using all Domestic and Exotics woods and veneers.We are able to offer all kinds of finishing applications . ( Paint , Oil ,Enamels, Lacquers- clear or color, Historic ,Milk Paints , Open, Closed , Rubbed ) . We have extensive sources to consider historical restoration and preservation . In today's difficult economy we are sensitive to all budgets and with today's environmental concerns, we will work with a green attitude if the client desires this direction , and finances allow for such defined choices. My shop is hidden away in an aggricultural community . The millwork shop is about 3000sq ft. and my finishing room is another 1000 sq ft. I have spent my life creating excellence. Since the age of 14, I have been exposed to woodworking and finishing with a strong emphasis on historical preservations and reproductions . When I was 18, I had a full time job in a custom cabinet shop . In 1984 I filed my business certificate . I opened up my furniture company under the name of LivingTree. My phrase was, "Today's creation's are tomorrow's heirlooms." My current business approach is an honest day's work for an honest day's pay. If you're curious as to what kinds of furniture and cabinetry inspire me , I would respond that I like Arts and Crafts , but furniture and cabinetry is about lines and personality and balance on mediums .
