Building with a focus on form and function, we take each piece in virtually any direction the tree tells us. All of our pieces start with a raw log sculpted with a chain saw , shaped and planed to the desired proportions , often cutting hardwood butterflies for strength and stability as well as aesthetics. Only then does the piece begin to take shape and the brain wracking begins in making an original work that we can say we enjoyed having made.




Our furniture has an Asian organic wabi-sabi approach emphasized by the cantilevered shelves, simplicity and soft form while the benches and standing art pieces have a very free form approach allowing the tree to be the star.

Each piece is meticulously shaped, scraped and sanded, then hand rubbed with tung oil . Only then will we brand it with the satisfaction of a job well done.
