• I had Clyde Haymore make a dining room table for me, since the one that I had was too big for my new home. I looked in all of the stores but the tables they had in the size I wanted were more dinnette type and I wanted a more formal table. I went to his workshop he took several hours showing me slabs of wood and we decided on ambrosa maple with the live edge on it. He filled some of the natural holes in with inlay and left some natural (I requested this) the table is absolutely beautiful and everyone who see's it comments on how they like it. It is definately a one of a kind and solidly made. I am planning on having him make another piece for me in the near future. show less -

• For several years when my husband and I would visit our retirement property near Mt. Airy, NC I would always stop in the Scenic Gifts Shop where Mr. Haymore features some of his work. I was always awestruck not just with his unique woodworking capability but with the amount of artistry that went into his work. During the construction phase of our home I wanted a dining table that would not only reflect the beautiful area we live but would be a cherished family heirloom for generations to come. Mr. Haymore spent several hours with me bringing in multiple unique pieces of wood that he felt was what we were looking for. We now own not just a beautiful one-of-a-kind dining table but truley a work of art and love! To make it even more special, Mr. Haymore was able to find a piece of walnut that belonged to a friend of my husbands from some 30 years back and incorporate it into the table.
