About The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to be one of the first hires joining a team of 5 experienced entrepreneurs. We’re looking for a self-starter to develop, optimize and grow our custom design platform alongside our Head of Product. This role is the perfect crash course for a future product manager or entrepreneur to learn how to grow a large-scale communication platform – and a technology company – from the ground up.

There’s nothing else quite like the platform we're building - so you’ll need to be innovative, analytical, resourceful, and able to solve lots of hard problems with very little precedent. Your initial responsibilities will involve taking ownership of our design and communication tools, identifying areas for improvement, and preparing to scale them as we increase our sales volume and expand into new verticals.

Job Functions

  • Identify key areas for improvement in efficiency, effectiveness, and ease of use for our design platform, messaging systems, and CRM tools.
  • Fine-tune a process for turning customer ideas into 3D designs, and then turning those 3D designs into real pieces of jewelry (and other things, eventually).
  • Work in conjunction with the rest of the team to plan and implement your solutions. Then track, analyze, and report on their effectiveness.
  • Develop tests and experiments related to communication, pricing, timeliness, and on-site engagement.
  • Get your hands dirty in a little bit of everything. We’re still a small team, and there’s lots to do. You’ll be setting the high-level vision of the company at the same time you’re handling customer service.


  • 1-3 years experience in a product, business analyst, or operations role at a technology company.
  • You drive your decisions with data, and like to play in the numbers.
  • You’re a self-starter that can see a problem, and then isn’t afraid to research it, find the necessary answers, and discover a solution - all without a ton of guidance.
  • You have great improvisational skills and thrive in ambiguity. Very little process and procedure means things don’t always go as planned, and you need to be able to think on your feet.
  • You’re tech-saavy. You don’t actually need to know how to write a line of code, but you should know how software is built and works.
  • You’re humble. You’re never afraid to be wrong, and understand why it can be a good thing.
  • You're excited by the idea of the unfamiliar...

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a top college/university
  • Experience in a startup and/or growth-stage environment.
  • Experience working on CRM, customer support, or messaging software.
  • Experience with any of: SQL, Photoshop, HTML/CSS - always a huge plus.
