Customer Experience Manager

Our custom design experience turns photos, sketches, and ideas into one­-of-­a­-kind jewelry. It takes a combination of sales, design, manufacturing, and customer support to make that happen. We’re looking for someone to take charge of the full customer experience and keep all groups running smoothly.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to combine management skills, customer savvy, and expertise with our process. You will lead our project support staff, which is responsible for guiding buyers from an initial idea, through a design process, to production of their unique piece of jewelry. You'll make sure our staff have the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. When tough problems come up, you’ll step in, do the research, and deliver a solution.

Job Functions

  • Improving our internal knowledge base in jewelry design and manufacturing
  • Handling escalations from our project support staff
  • Developing and training new project support staff
  • Reviewing the final design of every project to catch and correct errors
  • Managing issues and deadlines in the manufacturing process
  • Providing high­touch customer service for our repeat customers
  • Identifying areas for product and process improvements

Qualifications/Skills/Abilities

  • 2­-5 years experience in a customer­-facing role: customer service, sales, etc.
  • Great improviser ­- when things don’t go as planned, and you need to be able to think on your feet
  • Outgoing ­- you like working with people and making them happy
  • Thick­-skinned ­- you’re good at staying customer-­oriented and adapting to different types of customers
  • Organized ­ you’re good at managing your time and hitting deadlines
  • Detail oriented ­ it’s up to you to spot and correct design errors

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a startup environment
  • Experience in jewelry design or manufacturing
  • Experience with CAD
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4­year college/university
