English Partner's desk

19th C reproduction English Partner's desk with functioning drawers on both sides othe writing surface. Walnut with anigre banding and black ebonized stringing inlaid on the writing surface. Finish is water stain, shellac sealer and water-base acrylic lacquer rubbed out and waxed.

We build custom furniture and period reproductions, both French and English. Carving, veneering, and french polishing are done to the highest standards, using the best materials, (no contact cement or paper-back veneers are used, ever). We also do period antique restoration using hide glue for joinery and veneer restorations.
