The desk is made of air dried white oak and walnut. The top features a butterfly joint and has some inlay. The drawer box and shelf are cantilevered. The finish is a rub-on varnish.

Steffen took real care in the design, even adding an inlaid gingko leaf to match the Craftsman theme of the room. It is a stunning piece. We love the contrast of woods, and he seamlessly incorporated five different woods which all blend harmoniously. We have begun another project, so pleased were we with the result.

Steffen is an excellent craftsman. He was extremely helpful in the design and planning stages of the project and built a wonderful, high-quality bed for our daughter. We very much enjoyed our interaction and seeing the different stages of the work in photos. He had some good ideas to improve our original design. He even delivered and set up the bed for us. We are completely satisfied with our bed and will treasure it for a long time. Highly recommend Meisterbuilders, Inc!
