We don't sell you a diamond. We Help you buy the right one.

Let's be honest. A diamond is a huge purchase. You can do tons of research to make sure you're making a great choice and still wind up feeling frustrated and unsure. Our job is to fix that. We pair you with one of our diamond specialists, who hand-picks diamonds that perfectly meet your goals, and helps you weigh the options and trade-offs. You'll see high quality photos and videos along with the advice of an expert to help you understand what matters.

We believe what matters most is the visual beauty, size, and sparkle of a diamond, not just how it ranks on a certificate. It turns out that a diamond's 4Cs ratings are often confusing or misleading. Learn more about the 4Cs of diamonds and our sourcing philosophy.

Which shape is right for you?

From the ever-popular round brilliant cut to the more modern sparkle of the princess cut or the distinctive antique beauty of a rose cut, which diamond shape is right for you?

Round Brilliant Cut Designed to maximize a diamond’s “sparkle”. No other shape will display the unparalleled brightness, fire, and scintillation that makes the round brilliant cut by far the most popular diamond shape on the market.
Princess Cut This popular, modern square shape is a brilliant cut, with incredible sparkle. This cut results in the least loss of material when cutting from octahedral diamond rough, so it’s often cut from the best quality material.
Oval Cut The beloved slender oval shape can be longer or wider, depending on the ratio you prefer. Ovals show their size well: if you look at a 1-carat oval and 1-carat round diamond, the oval will appear larger.
Pear Cut Our customers love the pear cut for its striking shape: some wear it point-up, and others point-down. It’s important to select for optimal symmetry and proportions. Well-cut pears feature good sparkle and brilliance and hide inclusions well.
Cushion Cut Its vintage squared shape and rounded corners make for a gorgeous combination. Some customers prefer a scintillating "crushed ice" style, while others favor an “antique” or “chunky” faceting pattern.
Emerald Cut Elegant step cut faceting means an emerald cut diamond is characterized by fewer, but larger flashes of light. Its clean look doesn’t mask inclusions as easily as other cuts, so a high clarity grade is critical.
Marquise Cut The elongated look of the marquise lends a slender look to the wearer’s fingers and a larger look to the diamond itself. Symmetry is crucial for an even and balanced appearance.
Asscher Cut The clean, octagonal geometry of an asscher cut features step cut facets like an emerald cut, creating a hall of mirrors effect.
Rose Cut The antique rose cut has a nearly-flat bottom and an instantly recognizable facet pattern rising to a center point. Its fewer facets won't sparkle like a brilliant cut, but it offers a very low setting profile and a distinctive, romantic appearance.
Radiant Cut A radiant cut combines brilliant faceting with the octagon shape of an emerald cut to add brilliant sparkle to the popular shape.
Trillion Cut Among the more unique shapes, the geometric beauty of a trillion makes for a bold choice. Choose one with straighter sides for a sleek, modern look or one with gently curving sides for softer, elegant styling. Both will have brilliant cut facets that offer good sparkle.

Diamonds In Every Color

Looking to stray from the beaten path? Fancy colored diamonds have been popular for years, and modern tastes also include alternative options like black and brown diamonds and uniquely rustic salt and pepper diamonds.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a project take?

Typically, your custom piece will be in your hands 2-4 weeks after we've finalized your design. However, because each project is different, the time it takes to complete your project may vary. Here's a rough breakdown of how long each part of our process takes:

Design: As long as it takes for you to tell us it's perfect

When it comes to creating your design, we'll work at your pace. Some customers only need to exchange a few messages with us - we'll often be ready to make their piece within a few days. Others may prefer to design and iterate with us over many weeks, or even months.

Production: Approximately 2-4 weeks

Once you've approved a design, we'll manufacture your piece, finishing all the details by hand. When it's ready, we'll send you photographs of your finished piece so you can give us your seal of approval before we ship it to you.

Shipping: 1-3 days (domestic), Approximately 1 week (international)

We offer free shipping within the US via FedEx or USPS, and we ship international packages via DHL Worldwide Express, one of the fastest services available. Depending on location, international shipments can sometimes be delayed by local customs for inspection, which can extend the delivery time.

How much will my ring cost?

In general, our custom rings are the same price as similar rings off-the-shelf ('similar' meaning a comparable selection of metals and gemstones used, which are the biggest factors in price). Our aim is to make high-quality custom designs accessible to everyone.

Each ring we produce starts off as a brand new concept. Because of that, it’s difficult to know how much a piece is going to cost without knowing a bit more about the idea you have in mind.

The easiest way to figure out how much your ring will cost is to start a consultation with us and let our team know what you're looking for - we can provide an estimate with only a few details.

When do I get to see a design? Do I have to pay first?

There's no charge to discuss your design, and price out options with our team. In many cases, our jewelry designers will also create artistic sketches of our design concepts for your piece. We request a deposit prior to producing 3D models and renderings of your design and that deposit goes toward the final cost of producing your piece.

Where do your diamonds come from? Can I browse your inventory?

Unlike most jewelers, we don't keep a huge inventory of gems. Since every piece we make is custom, we prefer to source each stone individually, to suit the design and the specific needs of each customer.

As with the rest of our design process, our team will guide you through the diamond selection process. We start by figuring out what's important to you in a diamond, whether it's budget, origin, size, or simply the overall look. With that in mind, we research and prepare a set of options that we think would work for you. You'll get to see those options in a lot of detail, with 360-degree video and high resolution photos, and we'll provide a lot of context and advice to help you understand the trade-offs. And we'll keep looking at options until we've found a diamond you love. Click here to see how our diamond consultation works.

Our primary goal with diamonds is transparency. The center stone is an essential part of the look of your ring and it can be a big financial decision. Trust is built on honest communication, so we work hard to give you all the information you need to make a confident choice. And we encourage you to ask us questions! If you're read something about fluorescence or brown tinge that you'd like us to help you understand, or if you've seen a diamond elsewhere that looks like an incredible deal, we'll be happy to offer you our expert advice. We know a lot about the diamond market, so we're pretty confident that we can get you a stunner of a diamond at a great price, but we'll also be the first to tell you if we think you've spotted a killer deal somewhere else.

Are your diamonds conflict free?

In short: yes! All diamonds that we source and sell comply with the Kimberley Process, set up in 2003 to prevent diamond purchases from financing civil wars in Africa and across the globe. This process requires each actor in the diamond supply chain to guarantee that the diamond is conflict-free based on written guarantees from their supplier. Further, international exports must be transported in a tamper-resistant container with a government-validated Kimberly Process Certificate. Not all applicant countries are permitted to participate, and countries found to be in violation (e.g. Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Venezuela) are barred from participation until reforms are enacted.

The process has been effective, but it is not all-encompassing. Some customers are looking for additional peace of mind on issues like wages and working conditions. If that is the case for you, we recommend either lab-created diamonds (genuine diamonds created in a lab instead of mined) or CanadaMark diamonds, which have 3rd party verified Canadian origin.

Do you offer lab-created diamonds?

Absolutely! A lab-created diamond can be a great choice, both as a budget choice and for those who prefer a ring with no connection to the diamond mining process. We're happy to talk you through the trade-offs, and to show you both mined and lab-created diamonds.

Do you offer a warranty?

We stand behind our jewelry 100% and we offer a comprehensive set of warranties so that you can purchase with confidence.

Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty

We guarantee our workmanship and take responsibility for any structural defects.

Certificate of Authenticity

All the materials (metals, diamonds, and gemstones) we sell are authentic and properly specified in your proposal agreement.

Accent Stone Loss Warranty

If any small accent gems (<$100 value) break or fall out of their settings in the first year after we create the ring or within a year of us performing maintenance on the ring, we’ll replace them free of charge.
