This table is made from two solid sister slabs of Michigan Red Maple, each measuring 2-1/2″ thick. Slabs are connected with blocks made from the same beautiful Red Maple. Feet are made of Beech that has been painted black.
These two slabs have some amazing grain with plenty of figure, including birds eye, burl, ambrosia and curl. There is a large knot hole in the lower slab that has been filled with clear resin to preserve the beauty in all the burled grain around it while providing a smooth functional surface.
