Barn Wood Picture Frame Classic 3"
◊ This frame style is available in sizes to fit objectss from 5" x 5" to 80" x 80" up to 3/4" thick.
◊ The frame molding is 3" wide and 1" thick and is weathered on the front face and outside edge. All other faces are milled.
◊ The BarnWood will show off signs of previous use such as natural weathering, COLOR VARIATION, nail holes, insect tracks, knots, open knots, staining, traces of paint, size variation, texture variation & etc—differences in this character will make each frame unique.
◊ The joints are glued with hidden splines for added strength—no metal fasteners to work loose
◊ On small frames we attach saw tooth hangers with screws making for easy hanging in both portrait and landscape configurations; larger frames will have an aluminum french cleat with your choice of landscape or portrait configuration
◊ Includes glass on smaller standard sizes and acrylic (plexiglas) on all other sizes, and a 1/4" thick plywood backer all of which held securely in place with spring clips which will allow you to change out the contents without compromising the system holding things in place.
◊ You have the option of keeping the weathering natural or having a Hard Wax Oil Finish applied which will protect the wood from wear and stains, protect you from slivers and darken the color.
