As part of a remodeling of an abandoned firehouse into their home, a couple requested 3 tall cherry pantry cabinets with lots of adjustable shelving. The cabinets have both upper & lower doors that are mounted on hidden European-style, clip-on hinges; polished silver door pulls completes the design. The interior of the cabinets is a clear finish birch, while the exterior is stained cherry with 2 costs of lacquer applied. Waxing/buffing of the doors & cabinets sets off the low luster patina of the finish.
