A Wooden Platter For Serving Bread

This is a Beech Platter that a client asked me to make for his restaurant. It is intended to be used to serve bread and chips.

He wanted something that would be sturdy to use again and again but wanted it small enough to keep a small table of two uncrowded.

The client wanted something like birch wood, I fortunately had plenty of beech.

Also the Client wanted a fixed log on the platter with slots cut in it so that large vegetable chips could be placed upright in the slots.

Dimensions: 10"X1.5"
