Hawaiian Alaia Replica Surfboard 7'-4

The Kona Model Alaia
This tried and true design is the best all around alaia. From trimming knee high slop to getting shacked on an overhead freight train, this alaia will prove more than capable. Historians say that alaias were originally designed for steeper waves like those found on the North shore of Oahu. The Kona model demands attention and defines it's own style. The subtle flex characteristics allow the board to fit in the wave.
The ancient Hawaiians spent hundreds of years refining this design. My mission with this model is to simply replicate a great riding board and share it with the world! The Kona model is a fast board even in shin high waves and is awesome in Hawaiian scale waves too! Standing or prone, the Kona will put smiles on your face for many years to come.
