Saign has been a true pleasure to work with. A creative and incredibly talented artist, he was enthusiastic about the project from day one, helping me shape the concept into something unique and exquisite. I look forward to working with him again.
This sculpture was commissioned in 2010 by Mrs. Amaral. It was made as a present to her husband, as a wrapped copper version of her torso. .065 copper strips, formed and fabricated, blackened steel base, sealed with beeswax.
