This is a delightful purple, blue and amethyst colored abstract set. This food and microwave safe set was hand painted, glazed and fired in a kiln. I fired the pieces a bit longer than usual to create the faded amethyst color (where it looks yellowed) and a slightly cracked looking glaze.
Each piece was painted with the same colors, but due to placement in the kiln, it produced a varied color making this a completely one of a kind tea set.
