Mid-Century Modern Lift-Top Coffee Table
This table is the latest iteration of my ever-popular lift-top tables. The client's chosen design results in a light-weight table base that requires the use of drop legs for stability when open. The legs fold up and attach magnetically under the tabletop and close inside the table base when the top is lowered. The tapered, round legs can be removed and placed inside for storage or shipping. Plenty of internal space inside for remotes or your latest novel. Cool. Made from hand chosen walnut and African wenge. The Wenge borders on the curved tabletop are fashioned using a lamination technique. Finished in wet-sanded Danish oil and satin wax.
