After almost 20 years of our 2 sons playing hockey (skating lessons, driving to and from practices, enjoying and sometimes enduring freezing cold, competitive games, managing countless teams, President of the my son’s HS Hockey Club, penalty box door man, clock manager and statistician, social coordinator for after game noshes, parent enthusiast and one year of being “snack mom”) my husband can now put his feet up and just relax! Our hockey chair came out better than I had envisioned! (A foot rest was also included which I wasn’t expecting!) Karl from KMR Works was terrific. He was thorough and professional in his communication with me, his craftsmanship is exceptional and he even made arrangements to meet me with my project to avoid the pricey shipping costs. The chair is also custom made to include our last name and son’s hockey numbers. A nice touch personal touch. Truly a 5 star experience all around! I wish I could give him 5+ in all of the categories. My husband loves it and each time we take a seat in it, we will reflect on the many happy years of memories at the rink! Thank you Karl!
These chairs were built for an automotive consulting company. They wanted unique seating for their office. They gathered the seats from various vendors and manufacturers that they deal with. They had me design and build bases to get the seats to the proper heights and orientations to be comfortable for their guests. Each base was designed and built out of automotive race car roll bar tubing. After the bases were welded up they were then sent out to be powder-coated with and industrial looking black finish. The chairs were then mated to the bases, delivered and positioned in the office per the customer's request.
