This quilt features clothes from a client's daughter's first year of life. The client held onto her favorite pieces of clothing, and when ready sent the clothes to me.

The tiny shirts, pants, jackets, and dresses were cut and combined into blocks and then sashed with a cream premium Kona cotton. The blocks were bordered with a pink leopard cotton and finally bordered with a fantastic abstract patterned cotton. The quilt was backed with hot pink flannel..

It was quilted with a scallop design on the cream sashing and free motion for the remainder..

Some extra fun bits: the jacket zipper functions; several blocks feature the footsies off pajamas, and the little girls name was appliqued onto a sweet "love" block.
