Barnwood Reception Desk, Reclaimed Wood Lobby Desk, Office Desk

This handmade reception desk is STUNNING! It's an eye-catching welcome to customers and visitors as they enter the lobby of your business. The beauty of the wood top is impossible to capture in a photo or describe in words. It's made from reclaimed barnwood, milled to 1-1/2" thickness with its remarkable character carefully preserved through our finishing process. It is truly a remarkable piece of furniture-built to last forever. It has 2" welded steel legs connected by solid steel panels. All metalwork has been powdercoated in Solar Black color for a super durable finish. The oversize 11' x 6' desktop boasts plenty of space and has ample storage with four dovetailed drawers, all with soft-close undermount slides and file drawer locks.

The wood for the desktops was salvaged from a farm estate near Memphis, TN. Much care was taken to preserve the aged characteristic of the material; it's filled with many saw marks from the early American sawmills, and also loaded with nail holes, splits, and other unique beauty marks. The most severe holes or indentations were filled to preserve the wood's history. The desktop then received three coats of a commercial-grade finish. All metal components were powdercoated to withstand the stresses of a commercial office. The final product turned out amazing.

Size of the desk in listing photograph is made of two sections bolted together, Section A= 108"W x 30"D x 30"H, Section B= 78"W x 24"D x 30"H, bringing the outer perimeter to 11' x 6.5'!! Other sizes are available, please inquire with your size needs and you'll receive an immediate response.
