Bathroom/ Niche Ceramic Tile Mosaic Accents, Interior Design
This is a project I designed to blend with beautiful handmade tile that I bought at a local tile store. The niche is inlaid with small ceramic tile pieces that I hand formed. The featured center piece, a vase, is inspired by ancient Greek pottery and textiles. The vase is 3 dimensional with raised fish. This is a shower wall and the niche serves as a place to put shampoo or a candle for a luxurious bath!
On an adjacent wall are hand sculpted soap dishes/ shelf with complimenting colors. Above the smallest soap shelf is a sculpted frog. These components are examples of making a bath special. I designed the whole interior.
