Bed Frames
We made this piece for a customer who wanted to provide guest accommodations while conserving space when not in use. This is a set of twin beds which stack together and fasten with a locking pin, but also can lock side by side as a king, or lie separately as two twins. The frames are standard twin bed size and are designed to fit cotton mattresses. The edges are finished with reclaimed pine boards from 1900's era barn in Durham County - these boards were under the tin roof, and the rafters left the distinct marks.
This style could be adapted for any size bed, stacking or not.
