I roll out slabs of my favorite red stoneware clay, let it get leather hard and then using the side of an idustrial paint stick beat the tar our of it yelling "BAD CLAY BAD CLAY" which has everyone in the studio laughing. Once the clay has set up i drape it over a form to establish the curve. Then add the base.
This series are all glazed with Stans White that has been sprayed on. Of course all my work is food and diswasher safe
