I am beyond thrilled with my final product, but also with Stan's willingness to work with me. He kept me updated with emails and photos, he was willing to meet with me at a lumber yard to choose a live edge slab for the top, more than reasonably priced in my opinion..
I can't thank Stan enough.
The top is an exceptional, one of a kind slab of live edge black walnut burl. The base, also of black walnut, was designed to give the top a floating effect. Additional details-through tenons, joints pinned with contrasting birch dowel. Finished with Watco Danish oil to bring out the distinctive grain pattern, topped with Briwax. Dimensions are 48"L x 10.75"W x 1.5"D x 30.5"H
