These extremely durable industrial end tables are made from salvaged black walnut from an urban tree removal project. The walnut has an exceptional color and grain pattern and some bright white maple butterfly joints provide a nice contrast and visual interest. The bases are made from dark hot-rolled steel, with sanded welds, and are finished with a matte industrial-grade powdercoat.

The non-toxic, health-counscious finish on the tops is resistant to wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juices, milk and water etc. according to German Industrial DIN 68861 - 1C and complies EURO-NORM EN 71 (suitable for children's toys). This finish makes product care simple and easy. In most cases all that's needed is an occasional wipe-down with a soft cloth dampened with water.
