Bloodwood Hope Chest

Client wanted to make a hope chest for his only daughter before she married. He wanted to do some of the work. He did but then got busy and we did not get it done before the wedding. It sat until the first anniversary was about to come and he came out and worked one afternoon, then again too busy and it sat in my shop till the 2nd anniversary was two months away. Then he asked me to just finish it. Bride's mother did all the sanding and at one point she sanded off what I considered a key line of change but afterward I thought "it is going to mean way more to her that her mother did work than anything I did" did not bother me after that. Several hours later I did get it finished just before the 2nd anniversary. Very fun project. I wood like to build another similar to it someday.

Dimensions: 42"long x 22"wide x 24"h approx.
