Brynn Rocking Chair
In the late 70's my Mother designed this rocker as one of her first production pieces. She produced them for the next 20 years throughout the U.S. and Europe. When it came time for me to take over the shop she gave me the templates and wood to make one and sent me off. Assuming she had got rid of me for a few weeks, due to the complex nature of the chair, she went on with her other projects. When I came back in 4 days with a finished rocker ready to ship she decided I was capable of entering the business. I have consistently built them ever since.
Available in a slatted back or padded back version this rocker is universally comfortable and incredibly durable. The only rocker I have had return was one that was 18 years old and lived in a Psychologists office for his clients. It was used weekly for 18 years and the seams had loosened a bit causing it to creak slightly.
The fabrics on both can either be selected by the customer from standard fabrics or you have the option of many hand painted artistic renderings created by my Mother.
This rocker makes the perfect family heirloom.
