I asked Adam to make a walnut extendable dining table for me. I knew exactly what I wanted, so that made the process very straightforward. Adam always asked me questions when there were design decisions- finish, extension style, edge profile, etc.- which I really appreciated. Overall he was very easy to work with and communicated well during the whole process. He has very good craftsmanship and created a table that will be in our family for many years.
These built-ins were designed to fill the space on either side of the fireplace. Each unit is 5 feet wide and 9 feet tall, with shelves on top and drawer/cabinet storage below and are finished with crown and baseboard moldings to tie in with the trim in the room. In addition, the existing fireplace mantle and surround were replaced with a more substantial design that compliments the built-ins and helps balance the size of the fireplace. Shiplap was also added to the backs of the built-ins as well as wrapping the upper walls over the fireplace as an added design element.
