I was able to recover douglas fir structural "glue-lam" beams and fashion them into butcher block style tables. These items are not food grade. This particular item has a hand rubbed oil finish and is sanded very smooth. This item is the real deal with a top that is 7-1/2" thick and weighing perhaps 250#.
