Carved Door And Transom, Can Serve As Wall Pannel
The carved door and transom is a project from 1970. It was installed in the Vorpal Gallery in San Francisco.
Height 10ft x 42 inches wide, It is eight 10 ft slabs of 2" thick Black Walnut laminated together and cut into two pieces and carved. One 7ft door with 3ftx3ft transom above the door. It has a custom-made bronze doorknob plate, without knob or internal hardware. there are a few minor dings but structurally sound. This is available as is.
I am opened for commissioned projects in carved wood.
