This original cat painting "Pearl on Lavender" is painted in oil on a 24 x 12 inch canvas and framed in a black frame. The outer dimensions of the frame are approximately 31 x 19. The back is covered with a blue dustcover which shows the certificate of authenticity which has been signed and dated by me. This is a painting of Pearl, a cat rescued by Sanctuary One in Jacksonville, OR. Pearl has since been adopted and she lives a happy life in the Los Angeles area with another kitty friend that was also adopted from Sanctuary One! As with all of my work, 10% of the sales price is donated to animal rescue groups and charities. For this painting, the donation will go to Sanctuary One, where I am also a volunteer.
This painting was awarded the Gamblin Award of Exellence in the 2011 Irving Arts Association Fine Art Pet Show and has been featured in that show, plus two others.
