Cedar Lined Blanket Chest
This custom built blanket storage chest was constructed of cherry hardwood and finished with a clear lacquer. The color will age to that wonderful patina cherry develops with time. The chest is lined with aromatic cedar and equipped with torsion springs that allow the lid to remain stationary in any position (like the hinges on a laptop computer).
The chest measures 45" long x 20" wide x 21" in height. It will serve as a heirloom storage container for a bedroom or possibly a family room.
All four sides and the top are decorated with rose themes carvings. In addition, the inside of the lid is engraved with the owners favorite verse.
