Celtic Knotwork Crossed With Steampunk - Blue Etched Glass Art Plate
As a sample artglass piece this is a meld of steampunk with Celtic themed art etched into a blue glass plate I had found. The etching is done all on the backside of the dish. It is deep carved, frosted and shaded.

The blue plate is 13 inches (33cm) in diameter. It's an interesting color against the sandblasting. In part it becomes a hidden treasure and is revealed when the light is captured into the roughened grains lighting up the design within.

The plate is functional, as well as, a great art piece to display in the light on a window sill. Though you could eat off of it, it is more often used as a candy dish or serving plate for maybe cupcakes or cookies or other goodies.
