The Ice House Chair
The Ice House Chair (24"x21"x30") is a contemporary take on Mid-Century design with the added ability to flat pack for easy shipping. It assembles in just ten minutes and is much like an erector set in the sense that it can be put together by referencing the easy to follow instructions. The joints are all mortise and tenon, and once assembled the chair is surprisingly robust. The Ice House Chair is constructed of ash for the stiles and poplar for the seat, back and stringers, and painted with a custom-mixed milk paint. The stiles are finished with an oil urethane. The Ice House Chair can be customized with ash, maple, oak and walnut for the stiles and any color of your choice for the seat, back and stringers.
