Channel Tray - Pattern Bar Channel - Red
This piece can be purchased. A custom piece can be ordered. 7" x 15" x 1" deep tray made from 3/8" thick glass from Bullseye Glass Co. This channel tray uses a color palette of red, dark green and white. The pattern bar accent was created by first fusing the colored strips of glass into a mold to create the "bar", which was then sliced into pieces. The components were then book matched to form the focal point of the piece. A piece of lighter green glass forms the stripe around the edge for additional interest. The back is white. The texture on the front resembles leather providing a textural component to the finish. The entire piece has been sandblasted and then slumped to shape, giving it a satin finish.
It is food safe but it is not recommended that you put in the microwave. Hand wash only.
