Cherry Demi-Lune Table
This table is based on a composite of designs from antique Baltimore made furniture. Demi Lune simply means half or part of a cricle. Furniture of this style was very popular in the early 19th century. The top and legs are solid cherry. The inlays include ebony, maple, mahogany, and satin wood. The marquetry s hand cut by me with sand shading to enhance the 3D effect of the leaf. The finish is oil and shellac.
