This is a solid cherry blanket chest with raised panels and a removable tray (optional). There is a full width solid brass piano hinge for easy access to the chest content. The piece pictured is 32" long by 21" high by 16" deep. It features all solid wood construction with mortise and tenon construction.
The piece is finished with 6 coats of hand rubbed oil and can be built in cherry, walnut, maple, or oak depending on customer desires. With maple and cherry, I can use figured (curly or tiger) lumber for a very unique and special piece.
