Cog Picture Frame
Used bicycle gears sourced from a local bike shop are mortised into three of the frames corners. Stainless steel screws through the face of the frame and through the gears hold the cogs in place and add some extra strength to the frame.
The wood for the frame is from a locally razed, 100+ year old barn that we took down in 2000. Antique heart pine with some nice aged patina finished with an extremely durable matte lacquer . The frame is 24"x 30"
