Concrete And Steel Occasional Table
This elegant piece is comprised of mild steel and a cast in place concrete top.
A TIG welded angle iron frame with integral steel flat bar inlay and rebar was fabricated, then a tinted concrete poured in place. The top surface was then ground flush to reveal the aggregate, sealed, clear coated and polished to a lustre.
The legs are tied together with a sinuous flat bar stretcher that exactly mimics the steel inlay in the top above.
