Copper Wall Art In Wooden Frame

In this example the copper in the middle is about 6″x6″ and is in an 8″x10″ shadow box. Each strip is 6.5″. The wooden frame and backing are finished in black. The copper is also raised off of the backing by 1/8″ creating a really cool shadowing and 3D effect. The copper is painted and woven together, after it has been stamped. The piece is glued together, and put in a sturdy shadow box that will last for many years. Featured here is the 14 copper strip model, or you can alternatively choose a 12 strip model.
I have made four personalized woven sculptures this year, and here are some example of phrases that have been chosen. Normally I ask for three short phrases so that they can be stamped multiple times, but if you choose a larger passage that will work as well.
