Curly Cherry Entertainment Center
This is a custom built-in curly cherry entertainment center for a client in the Baltimore area. The piece features matched one piece curly cherry door panels for each of the 16 doors. The face frames are constructed using hand-cut dovetail joinery as are the two drawers. The drawer fronts are bookmatched curly cherry veneer overtop solid cherry and are cock beaded. Each of the outside corners on the cabinets is finished with hand-fluted quarter columns with a turned capital and base. The piece features other architectural elements as well including a soffit in the design of the crown moulding which is one of my favorite details. The customer has raved to me that everyone who has seen the piece in person has been and astonished and with good reason! I am very proud of this piece and would be happy to discuss incorporating some of these design elements into the perfect piece to suit your home!
