Curly Sycamore Desk
This desk is a unique combination of curved architectural elements and cantilevers. Hand crafted from Curly Sycamore (mostly found in England and a close relative of the maple family) and Cocobolo (a South American rosewood), the effect of the desk in the room is stunning. Designed for contemporary use, the spacing is appropriate for digital media and laptop storage. The cantilevered top is capable of holding more than a hundred pounds of books. Eye-catching veneers and contrasting combinations of woods are integral to much of my work.
Dimensions: desk 28 x 24 x 59, although I have made this in other sizes
