I developed this process myself, inspired to meld traditional Victorian silhouettes with the colors of Andy Warhol and the pop movement. I roll out a slab, build up the sculpture on the surface, then cut it into tiles to allow the clay to dry without warping. Finally, I add color through the glazing process.

The finished product is a ceramic portrait that's either 8"x10", 11"x14", or 16"x20" and mounted to board completed with mounting hardware to your specifications.
