Custom kitchen island with commercial grade butcher block top. Island is 9' in length composed of three (3) 30" base cabinets and an 18" bookcase cabinet for cookbooks.

Cabinets are made from flat sawn white oak in a classic european design. Nine (9) drawers and concealed in the 3 larger base cabinets. Stain color was custom blended and selected by the customer.

Counter top is a commercial Maple Rift sawn and 1 1/4" thick. The counter top is cantilevered to accommodate bar stools.

Each custom cabinet component is milled in our modern cabinet shop using state of the art CNC routers. From the CNC machine the panels are cleaned and sent to the finish shop where stain and a lacquer top coat are applied.

After assembly each unit is thoroughly inspected prior to delivery to the jobsite where final placement and assembly takes place. Once secured in its final location the counter top is added and secured.

This island installation also included two (2) low profile outlet strips permanently mounted under the counter top overhang.

This island was the centerpiece of a complete kitchen renovation and is the focal point for family gatherings.
