My inspiration comes from my great grandfather James H Glover who i read about in a book. He was a blacksmith in the late 1800's and is known for saving the boat load of people that were stranded in the middle of the ocean with him when the drive shaft to there vessel broke. using what was available on the ship he fixed the drive shaft and they made it to the US.
My knives are very involved and I take very great care in each creation. I have made these knives from stock steel materials by a lengthy process of hand forging, shaping, carefully heat treating, tempering, and finishing with a customized handle with a full tang. I consider each knife a unique creation that deserves a name and a custom leather sheath that i have made to match. this because of the sentiment that each one has by the time it is finished. most handles are made with solid brass finger guard and end. materials vary between leather, wood, bone, even stone inlays. Whatever you can imagine really. I look forward to creating your unique knife.
